Wreath Building With MFT and Gina K Designs

The MFT design team was given a fun challenge this month: Get creative with MFT stamps and the Gina K Wreath Builder Templates. These templates come in two sizes to create 3 3/4″ wreaths and 4″ wreaths. I used the 4″ wreath template to make today’s card.

Last summer, I had the opportunity to take a wreath-building class taught by Gina K and her daughter, Rina. They are such lovely ladies! Quite quickly into the class, I realized how fun and easy this template is to use. If you haven’t used one yet, check out this Gina K YouTube tutorial.

For today’s card, I used the stems and dainty flowers from the Sweetest Somebunny stamp set to make my wreath. I picked soft pastel colors for the small stamps, then added a sweet Stacey Yacula Piggy Pebbles image in the middle with thin foam squares. I die-cut a stitched circle window using the Rainy Circles Die-namics from a white card stock panel, trimmed that panel with a Rectangle Stax Die-namics, and then stamped a sentiment from the Piggy Pebbles stamp set. I attached the wreath to the backside of the card front with foam adhesive and then added more foam adhesive to the back of the panel, adhering it all to an A2 sized card panel.

Now it’s your turn! What MFT stamp set will you use to make your wreath? I can’t wait to see everyone’s new creations. Be sure to stop by the MFT blog for more design team inspiration and ideas. Thanks for stopping by!
