Welcome to special blog today. I have teamed up with talented designers to showcase Technique Tuesday Thank You and Gratitude stamp sets. It is always good to have thank you cards on hand, and there are some gorgeous sets today on sale. I have more information about the sale at the bottom of my blog.

I have put together a set of cards showcasing the beautiful stamp set Appreciated by Technique Tuesday. I used one of my favorite techniques to make the skies: Distress Oxide ink-blending.

I used one sheet of Bristol Smooth paper for my four front panels. I blended the skies first. For this first group of cards, I used Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, and Aged Mahogany Oxide inks for the top card; Tumbled Glass and Chipped Sapphire for the bottom card. For my cards below, I used Scattered Straw, Picked Raspberry, and Dusty Concord for the top card; Cracked Pistachio, and Peacock Feathers for the bottom card. I let all four panels air-dry for a few hours. This gives the paper a smooth, chalky finish that I love.

Next, I trimmed the panels, and prepped them with anti-static powder before stamping the birds and grass with embossing ink. I poured black embossing powder over the ink, and melted the powder with my heat tool.

For the frames, I used rectangle dies to die-cut two frames, and attached the frames together with double-sided adhesive. I added the inked panels to card bases, then used foam adhesive to attach the frames over the panels.

Inside each card I stamped a sentiment. The stamp set comes with words to make three different sentiments. I set this group of words up in my MISTI, and stamped the card bases to finish the cards.
