Thinking Of You

Honey Bee Stamps Coneflower + Video

Hi friends! I have a couple cards to share today, showcasing Honey Bee Stamps Coneflower die. I bought this die set last year (I think), and can you believe this is the first time I used it??!! It’s so beautiful, and I thought it would be fun to pullout my favorite inks and do some ink blending.

I used Picked Raspberry and Wild Honey Distress Oxide inks for the petals, and a few brown inks for the middle of the flower. I also used sponge daubers to move the ink. I do talk about sponges in the video I’m including in this blog. These sponges are definitely on my “most used tools in my craft room” list. Hmm..

Now that I’m thinking about it, maybe that list will be in an upcoming video. I know those videos have been made many times, but I do have products I use that you all might not know about. let me know what you think!

Back to this project- I did buy new sponges, and I talk about why in my video. I also show why I love Distress Oxide inks so much. I made two ink-smooshed backgrounds, and talk you through the process.

I finished both cards with sentiments from Pinkfresh Studio Grant Yourself Grace stamp set.

You can watch my whole process HERE:

One last thing to mention… I am so excited to announce I am now a scrapbook.com affiliate. This is an amazing one-stop site to shop for all of your favorite brands. I will be including affiliate links to their store, at no cost to you. If you do shop the links down below, I make a small commission, which really helps my blog and YouTube channel out. Thank you so much for your support.

That’s all that I have for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
